How does Donum decide which theme to use?+

Order of precedence: report-level override → workspace Brand DNA → built-in default. Recipient workspaces carry their own Brand DNA, so an agency template renders in the client brand without any per-report decision.

What is the difference between a built-in theme and Brand DNA?+

A built-in theme is a curated token set. Brand DNA is a token set Donum extracts from your website — palette, fonts, logos, and voice profile. Once your Brand DNA is saved, it behaves like any other theme.

Can I edit a built-in theme?+

Yes. Duplicate any of the twenty themes, edit any token (palette, fonts, chart colors, spacing), save it as a workspace preset.

Do recipient themes work for white-label and co-brand?+

Both. Each recipient workspace has a brand mode: white-label (recipient brand only), co-brand (recipient brand + your watermark), or strict (your brand, recipient name only).

What happens to my charts when the theme changes?+

Chart series pull from the palette role array. Switch the theme and every chart redraws with the new colors — line weights, legend, and grid all carry over.

Do themes export to PDF?+

Yes. Donum uses a JS-native PDF engine. Fonts, palette, spacing, and logo variants render identically in PDF, live link, and email preview.
